We start in cosmopolitan Shanghai, with the famous Bund and Yu Yuan Gardens before heading to holy Mt Huangshan and the cultural city of Hangzhou, famous for West Lake and Lingyin Temple. Next we head to the Guilin area and Yangshuo, a travellers’ favourite sat by the limpid waters of the Li Jiang river. After riding bikes and exploring on foot we travel west to another rural part of China, in Yunan.
