Airlines in China
Airlines in China have come a long way since the 1980’s when they were all managed under the umbrella of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). These days China has one of the largest aircraft fleets in the world and some of the newest and advanced aircrafts to fly on along with some of the largest modern airports in the world.
With increased competition between airlines there are great flight deals to choose from for domestic routes between Chinese cities along with good connections for international flights to China due to frequent flier mileage affiliates with Star Alliance, One World and SkyTeam.
The main airlines in China consist of Air China, China Eastern and China Southern Airlines along with a host of smaller subsidiary airlines to choose from. Hong Kong’s main carrier Cathay Pacific and its subsidiary Dragon Air connect to all major cities in China
